Village Board of Trustees April 6, 2009 Special Meeting A special meeting of the
Village of Liverpool Board of Trustees was held on Monday, April 6th, 2009
at 7:00 PM at 301 Sycamore Street, Liverpool, New York Gary White Deputy Mayor Nick Kochan Trustee James Rosier Trustee Dennis Hebert Trustee Mary Ellen Sims Clerk
Mayor Ward called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and all those present joined in the pledge of allegiance. Work Session- 2009-2010 Tentative Budget Mayor Ward stated that the Tentative Budget notice has been advertised and that no changes could be made on this tentative budget until after the public hearing that is scheduled on April 13, 2009. Proposed General Fund Budget Trustee White stated that he would check the proposed Personal Service line for the police budget. He inquired about the Personel Service line for DPW and the amount that is being projected for possible overtime. Trustee Rosier will check with Bill Asmus regarding the request for a new truck. Bill Asmus submitted a request for a new dump truck/plow for a total cost of approximately $150,000. The payments would be approximately $30,000 for a five year lease program. The old garbage truck and the old recyclable truck will be sold. The sidewalk plow was discussed at length. The question was if the size of the plow would make a difference in the damage that is done to the grassy areas surrounding the sidewalks. The number of police vehicles and the need for five cars was discussed. Proposed Sewer Budget The proposed sewer budget includes a yearly root control amount of $20,000. This will be a yearly expenditure for approximately five years.
Adjournment Motion was made by Trustee Rosier, seconded by Trustee Hebert, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:17 PM. Motion Passed.
