Village of Liverpool Board of Trustees Special Meeting March 10, 2008
A special meeting of the Village
of Liverpool Board of Trustees was held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 6:00
PM at 310 Sycamore Street, Liverpool, New York Gary White Trustee James Rosier Trustee Nicholas Kochan Trustee Dennis Hebert Trustee Mary Ellen Sims Clerk
Mayor Ward called the meeting to order and all those present joined in the pledge of allegiance.
Appoint FT police officer Motion was made by Trustee White, seconded by Trustee rosier, to appoint Kenneth Hatter III as a full time police officer to start work on March 14, 2008. . Motion Passed.
Approve purchase of police vehicle Motion was made by Trustee White, seconded by Trustee Rosier, to approve the purchase of a new police vehicle, using state contract pricing, for an amount of $15,015 from this year’s budget. Motion Passed.
Approve additional hours for codes department Motion was made by Trustee Kochan, seconded by Trustee Hebert, to approve Dale Hodge to work an additional 5 hours a week for a total of 20 hours a week. Motion Passed.
Budget work session Clerk Mary Ellen Sims reviewed the budget worksheets that have been prepared by the department heads. The tax rate was discussed in relation to the upcoming proposed expenditures and expected revenues.
A public hearing will be held in April for the tentative budget.
Executive session Motion was made by Trustee White, seconded by Trustee Rosier, to enter into executive session for the purpose of contract negotiations. Motion Passed.
Motion was made by Trustee Rosier, seconded by Trustee Hebert, to move out of executive session. Motion Passed.
No action taken.
Adjournment Motion was made by Trustee Rosier, seconded by Trustee White, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM. Motion Passed.
