Police Services
  The Liverpool Police Department offers the following services to residents, businesses, and visitors within the Village of Liverpool:
 
Continuous 24 hour Patrol—Officers patrol and protect our Village, deterring crime and enforcing NYS Laws, Local laws, and Vehicle & Traffic regulations.
 
Bike Patrol—Get to know your officers, and share information with them about the safety of our Village.
 
Foot Patrol—Officers will park their patrol vehicles and perform foot patrols throughout our Village.
 
House checks—By request, officers will check your home while you are out of town.
 
Home Security analysis—Make sure your home is crime resistant.
 
Bank Escorts—The Police will provide this service to our Village businesses depositing funds in Village banks.
 
Crossing Guards—Provide our children a safe guide across busy streets before and after school
 
Bike registration—Protect your bicycle from theft by registering it with the Police Department.
 
 Handicapped Parking Tags—N.Y.S.D.O.T. forms available by mail for immobile tag applicants.
 
Crime prevention programs and speakers—Crime prevention pamphlets and a videotape library full of information on many informative topics.
 
Fingerprinting services—For children, job applicants and other identification purposes.
 
"Watch Your Car" program—Decal program and/or V.I.N. etching program participation may bring a 5% reduction in your auto insurance costs. Call the PD for information and appointments or stop by for detailed brochures regarding the program.
 
Police Department Explorer Post—Area youth between the age of 14 and 20 years who are curious about a Police career can join the Liverpool Police Department Explorer Post.
 

Child Restraint Car Seat Check-ups—A certified 'Child Passenger Safety Technician' will assist you in properly installing your child's car seat. Call the Police Department at 457-0722 ext 2 for an appointment.
